Ruckus Wireless Expands Hotspots for “The Cloud” Ruckus Wireless will support the large-scale upgrade and expansion of nationwide Wi-Fi service from The Cloud. Recently acquired by BSkyB, the UK’s largest public access Wi-Fi provider has chosen Ruckus to supply advanced indoor wireless products and technology to this end. The Cloud offers Wi-Fi coverage across 12 European countries in over 8,500 locations. It aims to significantly increase its Wi-Fi hotspot presence in the UK, and is thus retrofitting a large number of hotspot locations with ZoneFlex dual-band 802.11n access points throughout the region.
