A good move as Gartner moves forward to create a Cloud Computing council which will help both Vendors and Customers. GARTNER GLOBAL IT COUNCILS Gartner has established two Global IT Councils — one on cloud computing and one on IT maintenance. Each of the Global IT Councils has been tasked with developing a set of basic rights and/or responsibilities for their specific area of technology. Members have discussed the issues candidly and in depth, and offered their real-world observations about problems in these areas, as well as practical, actionable recommendations for resolving them.
