Digital Fuel, a well-known provider of SaaS (News – Alert) IT Business Management solutions, recently announced the introduction of IT Cloud Cost Management.
This out-of-the-box solution is designed to help enterprises to make the most of the up-and-coming cloud computing technologies and services.
With the help of IT Cloud Cost Management, enterprises are able to compare the TCO, unit cost, and performance of IT services between various cloud and non-cloud alternatives and vendors.

Furthermore, IT organizations need to know how to allocate the costs of these services to the consumers within their companies.”

The creation of a MyGSI is an extremely simple 3-step process. First add an Image Sandbox, second, configure and prepare the Image Sandbox and third, save the Image Sandbox as a MyGSI. When a user needs to create a new Windows or Linux server based on the pre-configured MyGSI, they simply choose the saved image, fill in a few details, and instantiate the server in minutes within the GoGrid cloud.
There are several benefits and advantages of using a MyGSI to deploy servers within the GoGrid cloud:
