2011 Competition: “Conquering the Cloud Challenge” Open Data Center Alliance (ODCA) has announced a best practices competition called “Conquering the Cloud Challenge” to find the most innovative cloud-related practices by corporations and institutions. The grand prize, $10,000, will be awarded to the entry selected by a panel of expert judges: Jan Drake, Disney Corporation; Ben Kepes, industry analyst; Frank Gens, IDC; Jeff Perdue, Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley; and Ravi Subramaniam, Intel. The competition is open to corporations managing data center resources, as well as government organizations, universities, and other nonprofits in all geographies.
