Queralt Secures Apple iPads with Cloud

A new cloud based management, tracking, and notification application by Queralt is enabling users to track and secure Apple iPads in schools and businesses.

Queralt, a developer of value-based RFID and sensor technology applications, notes that it has developed iOs enabler for iQ3 framework to help businesses know where company owned iPads are.
The cloud solution immediately notifies businesses if an iPad leaves a secure area, and this is made possible without having to invest in expensive additional hardware.

The company is offering this cloud solution at an affordable price and notes that it provides access to iQ3’s cloud dashboard and it’s notification engine

Queralt’s new solution is already being deployed in schools and small business offices. Once the iQ3 software is installed onto any iPad, the location is uploaded to Queralt’s cloud-based system and it then allows users to monitor their iPad inventory, while defining complex security rules and alerts.  The company emphasizes that this newly released system is very easy to access and use through a standard web browser.

With the increasing popularity of tablets in modern computing -in both the private and corporate sectors- properly understanding and securing one’s investment has become equally important. Expensive technology doesn’t require expensive security,” said Queralt’s lead software engineer Jesse Youngblood.

This gives clients the ability to monitor and track their assets wirelessly as well as receive important notifications and alerts when events of interest take place.

Elaborating further on its iQ3 system technology, Queralt say that it has the ability to actively track and monitor physical assets and people.  Also, iQ3 can track and monitor environmental conditions in which assets and people operate. This technology works through cloud-based, Real-Time Location System (RTLS) solutions using RFID and sensor technology.
